Home > Annual Meeting

Hello fellow buckwheat enthusiasts,
As you are all well aware, we are in the midst of an unprecedented moment in recent history. The current pandemic is impacting all parts of life, and we must do all we can to ensure the safety of those around us. Having said this, the Board of Directors of the Eriogonum Society has decided to postpone this year's annual meeting until 2021. Janel Johnson has worked tirelessly to plan for an exciting meeting this year in northeast Nevada, and for that we thank her. The plan is to roll these plans over and hold the Eriogonum Society meeting in Elko, NV in June of 2021. This is truly one of the premier regions to encounter some of the most intriguing Eriogonum species.
These meetings are one of the highlights of my year, and I will dearly miss seeing you this summer in Nevada. It is my hope that we can find ways to connect this summer, whether it is sharing photos, stories, or by some other creative outlet. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or just to say hi.
Stay safe and healthy,
Ben Grady
President, Eriogonum Society
